Part of managed hosting is security and plugin updates. Many companies in the industry offer automatic updates so that your site is always up to date, but they leave the updates to a robot. We have seen how frequently a plugin update can make a change that dramatically breaks the function or look of a website, so every week our team performs a complete site backup, updates your website then completes a three-point QA Check on the site to ensure that everything is still looking and working great.
When something breaks during an update our team will determine the extent of the problem, and most minor problems are fixed automatically as part of your hosting fees. If the problem is substantially more complicated we will revert the update, contact you about the problem, and provide a quote for repair at our discounted hourly rate.

DAILY COMPLETE BACKUPS
The first line of defence against most website problems is a robust backup system. All sites hosted with us have daily backups that are stored securely in off-site cloud storage. We retain 90 days of backups for all sites, so even if a problem goes undetected for a while we can find and repair the differences. We also have a secondary backup system at the server level, so even in catastrophic failures we can get your site back up and running again quickly.

CLOUDFLARE DNS – $250 SETUP
Utilizing Cloudflare DNS allows your site to use the powerful Cloudflare Caching system which has meaningful speed and performance impacts for your site, it also features Cloudflare DDOS and Always OnlineTM protection, so even when something goes wrong your site remains available. Note that this service is only available when Longevity Graphics is managing the DNS for your hosting. Our Cloudflare Addon has no recurring monthly usage charges.
MAINTENANCE PACKAGES – STARTING at $250 / MONTH
Interested in making large or frequent changes to your website? We offer discounted rates for monthly packages of website development work. A $500 package provides five hours per month of development time for making website changes, enhancements or updates. Great for businesses looking to make substantial changes or implement new features on their site, like an e-commerce system for selling products online, or for those who are in need of frequent development assistance, such as if you would like us to maintain your website’s blog or other high-chance areas.
